Well, here in the good old USA, it's the end of the summer season, and you know what that means:  Back to School.  And if you're a parent of a student, you know what THAT means:  time to gear up for school sports! [insert your own marching band pep rally music here]And in keeping with the changing seasons, we have a special treat, just for you (and for our veteran Misfits, an especially special treat):  author, speaker, encourager and lover of all things coffee, Elizabeth Laing Thompson, is back with us on the Isle... and she's just as delightful as ever. It's been a minute (as the kids say) since we've caught up with her, and caught up we did.  Perhaps in part due to all the coffee, she's been up to an awful lot, most recently, a brand new devotional book just for the female athlete in your life called (what else) "In Season:  A 90 Day Devotional for Female Student Athletes to Build Faith, Strengthen Confidence, and Train a Growth Mindset".That's a lot to promise from 230 pages but I promise you it's not all hype. Look what I found digging through the Misfit Archives!From all the way back in June of 2018,  it seems fitting to listen to this wonderful conversation with Dudley Delffs about the one, the only, and the irreplaceable Dolly Parton... or as The Babylon Bee put it, the last remaining universally beloved human, who has now gone on to Glory. Lots of alliteration in this episode  (Dudley Delffs...
